For those who want control, predictable costs and a more stable production.
We design and build systems to help you get the most out of your deposit.
ICM designs and manufactures bespoke systems – efficient, automated systems designed to minimise waste and project risks. We don’t just sell machines: we design processes.
An optimised quarry eliminates hidden costs
Having analysed deposits and quarries around the world, ICM has identified 5 common issues.
A product of inconsistent quality is penalised by the market and can lead to downstream costs (blending, lost production, reworks).
Surplus material builds up, takes up space and has to be moved using ground-based equipment. It’s a twofold cost involving the direct cost of diesel and labour, and the hidden cost of lost sales.
Paying to dispose of filler in sludge presents a twofold disadvantage: it incurs a cost for a non-productive operation and results in the loss of a fraction of material that could generate a profit.
The lack of automation prevents a complete overview of what is happening in the system, leading to a higher number of human errors and an increase in unplanned system shutdowns.
Delays in delivery, inaccurate cost estimates and design errors pose a significant financial risk, particularly in large-scale projects.
ICM turns the typical challenges faced by quarries into profit.
All ICM crushing and screening systems are designed to turn the common challenges faced by a quarry into measurable profit day after day.
Consistent material quality
We start with the deposit and design the process as a system, not as a collection of machines. We combine material analysis, crushing methods, automation and precision engineering to achieve more controllable results.
The aim of ICM systems is to stabilise particle size distribution and reduce the variables penalised by the market.
-
More consistent quality over time
-
Fewer corrective measures, blends and reworks
-
The best-selling and most predictable product
No unsold stock with ICM diverters
ICM diverters automatically redirect excess material to further crushing stages. This is how you turn surplus stock into products demanded by the market.
The aim of ICM systems is to eliminate the piles of material for which there is little demand, as they take up space and result in unnecessary handling.
Drastic reduction in unsold stock.
Fewer vehicles on the ground, less diesel, fewer man-hours.
Tidier yards that are easier to manage.
Produce what the market wants, not what piles up.
Management of fine-grained materials: from cost to resource
With the ICM FILLER PLUS procedure, you recover almost all of the filler through a controlled process and reintroduce it into the finished product in accordance with specifications. This consistently produces sand of the highest quality.
From a disposal cost of €80 per tonne to a saleable resource at €15 per tonne, in full compliance with standards UNI EN 12620 and UNI EN 13043.
The aim is to stop paying for the disposal of the filler and to recover value from a fraction that is currently lost in the sludge.
- More stable, higher-quality sand
- Higher economic yields from the deposit
- Lower volumes of sludge to manage
More automation, fewer errors
ICM AUTOCONTROL constitutes the system’s brain – it monitors the process at every stage and gives you control over productivity, waste and costs per tonne. When the data is clear, so are the decisions.
The aim is to reduce errors, unplanned downtime and reliance on skilled labour.
Fewer operational errors
Fewer unscheduled stoppages
A more stable and reproducible process
Greater control over the operating margin
The earlier you start, the sooner you earn
Thanks to our proprietary software, we speed up the engineering process and provide you with comprehensive technical quotations in a short time. Furthermore, the modular system with bolted steel structures simplifies the construction process, reduces complexity and shortens assembly times.
The aim is to reduce uncertainties, delays and implementation costs.
More predictable costs and fewer changes during the construction process
Faster and more predictable installation
Early start to production
Less risk of delays and stoppages on site
